Bear

Bear is a big, pretty 5 year old gelding that will fit a lot of people. We have had him since his 2 year old year and know just about everything there is to know about him. He is the definition of uncomplicated - easy to look at, easy to be around, and just plain easy to get along with.

Bear is a huge pet, stays gentle no matter how long he has had off, and there is no doubt that he has the size and shape to do just about anything asked of him. He has spent a lot of time sorting both cattle and horses and will pin his ears and get to work. He has roped and drug calves at branding, has been used to snub and start a few colts, and has been ridden in big, open country moving both horses and cattle. He travels easily and confidently outside, handles all kinds of terrain well, and does not get nervous being on his own or in groups. He is comfortable with a rope, sorting flags, 4-wheelers, baths, and ponying other horses or being ponied. He can go shod or barefoot and is easy to trim or shoe and has been hauled quite a bit and loads and travels well.

There isn’t a scar or blemish on this gelding, he is sound in every way (mind and body) and is ready for someone to go on with. He could go a lot of different directions, but our number one objective is finding him the right home with the right fit. It is hard to find a user friendly gelding with this kind of size and look at an age where he still has all the time in the world ahead of him. Don’t pass him up!
