2010 buckskin gelding
grade quarter horse
When we met Pete, it was 11 degrees, snowing and blowing, and he saddled up and rode off at a trot without a care in the world. It's hard to come by a young horse that has that kind of foundation and sense, so we made sure he came home with us.
Since then, Pete has quickly become a permanent member of the family. He's handled the stress of some of the largest event venues in the U.S. with ease, loves to pick up bucking horses, and can do just about any task you put in front of him. He works both the bareback and bronc riding and can pull bulls with the best of them, carries flags, packs gun-shooting cowboys, and is just as handy at home sorting cattle and dragging calves to the fire.
This blue-eyed gelding is fun to have around, loves his neck scratches, and is one we can always count on to bring his best.
